Challenges & Objectives

/ Project Overview

We worked with Sbooch, a home-grown “new-generation” kombucha brand based in Mumbai. Sbooch’s positioning centres on gut-health, minimal sugar, no preservatives, and flavours inspired by India’s regional culinary traditions.

Our collaboration focused on building their digital identity, crafting engaging content (short-form video, styling stills, storytelling carousels) and translating their unique flavour and wellness story into a tone that feels modern, bold, but still rooted in heritage.

/ Challenges

  • The beverage space is crowded, and kombucha especially is still emerging in India- the challenge was to turn Sbooch from “just another functional drink” into a lifestyle brand.
  • Balancing health-credibility (gut-friendly, low sugar) with taste, flavour, and regional flavour storytelling (for example: Koshimbir (Maharashtra), Gor Keri (Gujarat), Tulsi & Lemon, Rasam) so it doesn’t feel too clinical.
  • Maintaining a consistent visual and tonal brand identity across formats (reels, stills, carousels), while educating audiences on what kombucha is, why it matters, and why this version stands out.

/ Objectives

  • Build a distinctive brand identity for Sbooch on Instagram and other socials: clean, modern, but with a touch of Indian culinary heritage and playful edge.
  • Produce high-quality, story-driven content that positions Sbooch as a credible, premium yet approachable gut-health beverage: mix of educational posts (what is kombucha?), flavour spotlights, founder/brand story, lifestyle visuals.
  • Drive engagement and reach through content that resonates: telling the flavour-stories (e.g., the ‘Rasam’ flavour’s South-Indian inspiration), the minimal-sugar & preservative-free proposition, and linking to real lifestyle moments (post-workout, brunch, refreshment).
